This unique freestanding ski coat rack is handcrafted from four authentic skis (two pairs) and designed to bring the spirit of the mountains into your home. Unlike a wall-mounted rack, this ski stand creates a statement piece for entryways, mudrooms, bedrooms, ski lodges, and mountain homes.
 
Each stand features handmade pegs created from repurposed ski poles. Depending on the design, the pegs may incorporate the original ski pole grips or sections of the aluminum pole, adding another authentic detail from the equipment’s former life on the mountain.
 
A reclaimed wood shelf near the bottom provides structural support while also creating a convenient spot for storing mittens, hats, gloves, keys, or other small items.
 
Your ski coat stand can be created from either downhill skis or cross-country skis. Each type of ski is carefully restored according to its construction: downhill skis receive detailed preparation including rust removal from metal edges, filling and color-matching of binding holes, edge protection, and finishing to help preserve the ski. Cross-country skis are carefully cleaned and restored while preserving their unique materials, graphics, and character.
 
Every ski is individually selected, cleaned, and prepared to highlight the original colors, graphics, and history of the equipment. Binding holes are filled and painted to blend with the ski design, and the skis are finished to restore their beauty and shine.
Because every ski has its own story, colors, graphics, and wear patterns, every coat stand is completely unique.
