This one-of-a-kind ski and snowboard Adirondack chair will be handcrafted from the carefully selected vintage Volkl downhill skis and colorful snowboard shown in the photos.
 
From my collection of hundreds of pairs of skis and snowboards, I hand-select combinations that create a visually striking finished chair — carefully considering colors, graphics, and how each piece will come together as functional furniture. The photos show the exact ski and snowboard combination chosen for this chair, allowing you to preview the personality of your finished piece before construction begins.
 
Please note: the skis and snowboard shown in these layout photos are not yet restored and are not the finished chair. Before becoming furniture, each piece goes through my detailed restoration process including cleaning, removal of stickers and residue, rust removal from ski edges, filling and color-matching binding holes, sealing exposed edges, and applying a protective clear finish to preserve the original graphics and character.
 
You may choose whether this chair is built as a classic stationary Adirondack chair or as my unique folding ski Adirondack chair. Folding ski chairs are a rare design — combining the comfort and style of an Adirondack chair with the convenience of easy storage and transport.
 
Each chair is handcrafted using rot-resistant hardwood and stainless steel weather-resistant hardware. The result is a sturdy, comfortable piece of functional art created from authentic winter sports equipment.
 
Skis and snowboards may seem indestructible, but they are not immune to time, moisture, freezing temperatures, UV exposure, and wear. My restoration process is designed to preserve these pieces of mountain history and transform them into furniture that can be enjoyed for years.
