ADIRONDACK ROOTS
Firmly planted within the 6-million acre Adirondack Park, our company couldn’t get more Adirondack, nor more closely allied with avid winter sports. Adirondack Ski Chairs of Lake Placid is based in the two-time Olympic village of Lake Placid, New York and just down the street from Whiteface Mountain, site of the 1980 Olympic downhill skiing competitions.
ENVIRONMENTAL MOTIVE
Since 2005, we’ve been handcrafting comfortable Adirondack chairs and eclectic home goods by upcycling downhill and cross country skis, snowboards, and poles that would otherwise end up in the landfill.
