Firmly planted within the 6-million acre Adirondack Park, our company couldn’t get more Adirondack, nor more closely allied with avid winter sports. Adirondack Ski Chairs of Lake Placid is based in the two-time Olympic village of Lake Placid, New York and just down the street from Whiteface Mountain, site of the 1980 Olympic downhill skiing competitions.
Since 2005, we’ve been handcrafting comfortable Adirondack chairs and eclectic home goods by upcycling downhill and cross country skis, snowboards, and poles that would otherwise end up in the landfill. By purchasing our products, you are supporting an important zero-waste initiative. Thank you for keeping Mother Earth, as well as avid skiers and riders, happy year round.
HANDMADE AMERICAN ART
Created with both aesthetically pleasing and utilitarian purposes, every item in our product line is a unique piece of functional art. We take great pride in being artists, and promoting art in America and the Shop Small Movement.
We know there are other ski upcyclers out there. They might even sell their items for less. The difference is in the details. Our prices reflect our commitment to create the finest products on the market. Long-lasting luxury items that owners can brag about.
